Destination: Gluten-Free Travel

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at the age of 52, one week before our annual spring break cruise. I was quite worried the the ship would not be able to accommodate me so close to our cruise. We were sailing HAL Nieuw Statendam. I was very happy when HAL told me there would be no problem accommodating my dietary request. The first place we went to on the ship was to see the MaĆ®tre D’. He told me that my dietary needs have been added to my account so that whenever I went to a dining venue, they would know how to take care of me. He also told me where I could NOT eat. This got me thinking about others. On this page, I will add reviews and pictures as well as information were you can feel safe to dine when you travel throughout the States and Europe as well as cruises. Happy eating!
