Herodian Hotel Review: With an Attractive Breathtaking View

An Attractive Boutique Hotel View of the Acropolis

Review of Herodion Hotel

Reviewed July 8, 2018

The Herodian is a classy, attractive boutique hotel with an attractive view of the Acropolis. We booked the Herodian as our pre-cruise hotel for 2 days prior to a weeklong Med Cruise. We pre-arranged pick-up at the airport with the hotel and were greeted just outside the baggage claim. At check-in we were greeted with “Happy Anniversary! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay pleasant.” When we got to the room the first thing we noticed was how clean and modern it was, then we looked out the window…..The Acropolis was right in front of us!! We then noticed a bottle of water, Greek Biscotti and a note from the hotel staff wishing us a happy anniversary and a great stay. What a nice gesture!

After our 14 hour flight we were ready to shower and have a nice relaxing dinner. We were tired and didn’t want to venture out so we used our coupon for 10% off dinner and a glass of wine and headed one floor up to the Point A Restaurant. Once again we were surprised! The view of the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum was spectacular. Dinner was so good we ate there the next night as well. The service at the hotel and restaurant is 5 star!

We spent the next day exploring the Acropolis. On our way back to the room we decided to stop at the lounge for a cool drink. The bartender suggested something nice and refreshing (non-alcoholic) and we sank down into the comfy couch and relaxed.

Breakfast each morning was included with the room. It was a mixture of North American and Greek breakfast items with a made to order egg station. Very nice as well.

Check-out was quick and easy and the front desk had a taxi ready to take us to the port within 10 minutes of the request.

We are so glad we chose this hotel and will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in Athens. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Athens.
